Full Stack Developer (MERN)
Job Summary
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong experience in the MERN ecosystem who can contribute across frontend and backend development.
The ideal candidate should be capable of building complete features from database design to user interface implementation while maintaining performance, scalability, and engineering best practices. We value engineers who understand technical trade-offs, think beyond CRUD development, and can take ownership of delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications.
- Build frontend applications using React.js and Next.js.
- Develop backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design and optimize MongoDB and SQL database structures.
- Develop secure and maintainable REST APIs.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning.
- Implement performance optimization and monitoring practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client projects.
- Perform debugging, testing, and production issue resolution.
- Contribute to code reviews and engineering standards.
Required SkillsFrontend
- Strong experience with React.js and Next.js.
- Understanding of SSR, CSR, and ISR concepts.
- Component-based architecture and reusable UI development.
- State management and frontend optimization techniques.
- API integration and frontend performance tuning.
Backend
- Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js.
- Experience designing scalable REST APIs.
- MongoDB database design and optimization.
- Working knowledge of SQL databases.
- Authentication and authorization implementation.
- Understanding of backend architecture and service design.
General
- Good understanding of JavaScript and modern ES6+ concepts.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Git and version control proficiency.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Go, Java, or Python.
- Understanding of system design fundamentals.
- Basic cloud experience with AWS or Azure.
- Docker and containerization exposure.
- CI/CD and deployment experience.
- Basic infrastructure and monitoring knowledge.
Experience
- 2 years of relevant full stack development experience.
- Experience delivering real-world production projects.
