- Job Summary -
The Maintenance Incharge is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to ensure minimum downtime and efficient operation of equipment and facilities. The role includes managing technicians, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining records, and coordinating with vendors.
Supervise daily maintenance operations and technical staff.
Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
Attend equipment breakdowns and ensure quick resolution.
Monitor machinery performance and reduce downtime.
Maintain utility systems such as electrical, HVAC, compressors, DG sets, plumbing, etc.
Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
Coordinate with external contractors and service providers.
Maintain maintenance logs, inventory, and spare parts records.
Prepare maintenance reports and budgets.
Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Ensure proper functioning of tools and maintenance equipment.
Train maintenance staff on procedures and safety practices.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems
Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
Leadership and team management
Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance
Familiarity with safety standards and SOPs
Communication and reporting skills
Basic computer and maintenance software knowledge
