About the Role
We are looking for a creative, organized, and results-driven Social Media Coordinator to manage our online presence and generate quality leads through engaging content and digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, understands current trends, and can create compelling content that drives student engagement and enrollments.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Design graphics, reels, stories, and short-form videos using Canva.
- Write compelling captions, hashtags, and calls-to-action.
- Respond promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries.
- Monitor social media trends and recommend new content ideas.
- Coordinate with the admissions and marketing teams to promote courses, events, webinars, and student success stories.
- Plan and maintain a monthly content calendar.
- Assist in running and optimizing Meta (Facebook & Instagram) advertising campaigns.
- Track social media performance and prepare weekly and monthly analytics reports.
- Capture and edit photos/videos from virtual or on-site events when required.
- Maintain brand consistency across all digital platforms.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar content creation tools.
- Basic knowledge of Meta Business Suite and social media analytics.
- Experience with video editing is an asset.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the education, college, or healthcare training sector.
- Knowledge of lead generation through social media campaigns.
- Familiarity with CRM systems is an asset.
- Understanding of SEO and content marketing principles.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Must be available during Toronto (Eastern Time) business hours.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for events or campaigns.
