Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Purchase Manager to lead our procurement function. The incumbent will be responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor development, contract negotiation, and ensuring an uninterrupted supply of raw materials, consumables, and machinery parts required for quartz stone production. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth industry knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and a proven track record of driving cost optimization while upholding quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Formulate and implement procurement strategies aligned with production and business objectives.
* Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for raw materials such as quartz grit, resin, chemicals, consumables, and spares.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to optimize costs and ensure long-term supplier relationships.
* Ensure seamless availability of materials to prevent production downtime.
* Conduct regular supplier audits to verify quality, reliability, and compliance with company standards.
* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Production and Warehouse teams for timely replenishment.
* Track market trends, analyze price movements, and initiate cost-saving measures.
* Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and contracts in MIS/ERP systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Production, Quality) to ensure smooth procurement operations.
* Lead, mentor, and motivate the procurement team to drive efficiency and accountability.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
* 10–12 years of progressive procurement experience, including at least 4–5 years in a managerial capacity within Quartz Stone, Ceramics, Building Materials, or related industries.
* Strong knowledge of raw material markets (quartz grit, resin, chemicals, consumables, and machinery spares).
* Proven expertise in negotiation, cost control, and vendor management.
* Proficiency in MIS/ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
* Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills with a results-driven mindset.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
