Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused repair and service engineer to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain consumer electronics and home appliances. The candidate will ensure timely resolution of customer complaints, maintain service quality standards, and achieve customer satisfaction through effective technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electronic products and home appliances.
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and servicing of products at the service center or customer location.
- Install and commission products as per company standards.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and periodic inspections.
- Maintain accurate service records, job sheets, and repair reports.
- Coordinate with customers regarding repair status, spare parts availability, and service completion.
- Ensure compliance with company service procedures and safety guidelines.
- Identify spare parts requirements and coordinate with the inventory team.
- Test repaired products to ensure proper functionality and quality standards.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and provide technical guidance when required.
- Support warranty and out-of-warranty service activities.
- Meet service turnaround time (TAT) and productivity targets.
Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, ECE, EEE, or a related field.
- Freshers or experienced candidates can apply.
- Knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, and appliance troubleshooting.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with service management systems.
