Job Summary
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain automated testing infrastructure for Android applications and backend APIs. The candidate will own quality assurance and release validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build automated UI test suites using Espresso and Appium.
- Develop API test suites using Postman/Newman or RestAssured.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Design test plans and test cases.
- Perform exploratory manual testing where required.
- Test applications across different Android versions and screen sizes.
- Track, reproduce and document bugs.
- Verify fixes before releases.
- Own final release quality checks.
- Monitor Crashlytics and Play Console vitals.
- Maintain regression suites and manage flaky tests.
Required Skills
- Strong QA and test automation experience.
- Hands-on Appium and Espresso experience.
- Programming knowledge in Kotlin, Java or Python.
- API testing using Postman, Newman or RestAssured.
- Strong manual testing fundamentals.
- CI pipeline integration experience.
- Jira or equivalent bug tracking experience.
Preferred
- JMeter or k6.
- BrowserStack/Firebase Test Lab/Sauce Labs.
- Basic security testing knowledge.
- ISTQB certification.
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
