Job Summary
Babaji Vidhyashram School is looking for a responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious Driver to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation of school officials and staff, while ensuring the vehicle is well maintained and complies with all traffic and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport staff, and school officials as assigned.
- Ensure the school vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance requirements.
- Follow all traffic rules and school safety guidelines.
- Maintain vehicle logbooks and fuel records.
- Assist in transporting materials and equipment for school activities when required.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off as per the assigned schedule.
- Maintain courteous and professional behavior with students, parents, and staff.
Eligibility
- Valid LMV/Transport Driving Licence (badge preferred, if applicable).
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience.
- Good knowledge of Chennai routes and traffic regulations.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Physically fit and willing to work flexible hours when required.
- Experience as a school driver is preferred.
Pay: From ₹24,000.00 per month
