Role Summary:
The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service, high-quality food and beverage delivery, and excellent guest satisfaction. This role involves supervising staff, managing shifts, maintaining operational standards, and assisting in achieving sales and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
- Assist in planning and managing daily restaurant operations.
- Supervise front-of-house and back-of-house activities during shifts.
- Ensure service standards, cleanliness, and hygiene are maintained.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and timely service.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and cost control.
Team Management
- Support in staff scheduling, allocation, and shift management.
- Motivate and guide team members for high performance.
- Conduct on-the-job training for new and existing staff.
- Handle employee queries and escalate issues to the Restaurant Manager.
Customer Service
- Address guest feedback, complaints, and special requests promptly.
- Maintain positive customer relationships and ensure repeat business.
- Assist in implementing service recovery procedures.
Sales & Profitability
- Support in achieving daily and monthly sales targets.
- Promote upselling and cross-selling among the team.
- Monitor wastage and help in cost control measures.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Comply with company SOPs, licensing laws, and food safety standards.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic financial understanding (billing, cost control, P&L awareness).
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 years of experience in restaurant as Assistant Restaurant Manager

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹34,000.00 per month
