Role Summary
The Program Manager – HDS ITR Engineering is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery, growth, and strategic development of the HDS Inquiry-to-Remittance (ITR) Engineering portfolio. The role oversees Accessories Design Engineering and Agile & Core ITR Upgrade teams, ensuring delivery excellence (KPI Milestones), customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business growth while fostering a high-performance engineering culture.
The ideal candidate is a customer-focused leader with strong technical acumen (preferred Gas Powerplant Combine cycle plant Background), commercial mindset, and proven ability to develop teams, identify growth opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership

Lead the HDS ITR Engineering program across Accessories Design Engineering and Agile & Core ITR Upgrade portfolios.

Ensure delivery excellence with focus on Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Customer Satisfaction.

Drive execution against program KPIs including OTD, FTQ, Productivity, Utilization, and Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ).

Provide governance through regular operational reviews, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
Business Growth

Identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing customer accounts.

Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities by expanding engineering scope and value-added services.

Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, and Customer Leadership to develop account growth strategies.

Support proposal development, solution definition, effort estimation, and customer presentations.

Develop business cases for new capabilities and strategic investments.
Customer Engagement

Build trusted relationships with customer engineering leaders and key stakeholders.

Act as the primary escalation point for delivery and technical issues. And close the actions with plan

Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and value creation.

Represent the organization during customer reviews, strategic workshops, and governance meetings.
People Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Build a high-performance culture focused on ownership, accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

Coach future leaders through structured mentoring and succession planning.

Drive competency development, Individual Development Plans (IDPs), technical training, and knowledge management initiatives.

Conduct performance reviews, career discussions, and talent development activities.
Operational Excellence

Ensure, Timesheet discipline for your team, week on week.

Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives along with Lean leader.

Lead automation and AI-enabled productivity improvements across engineering workflows.

Optimize engineering processes to improve efficiency, quality, and customer responsiveness.

Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality systems, and organizational processes.

Champion adoption of AI, Digital Engineering, and workflow automation solutions.

Work Experience
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
-
12–18+ years of experience in Engineering Services, Power Generation, Industrial Equipment, or related industries.

Proven experience managing large engineering delivery programs.

Strong understanding of Inquiry-to-Remittance (ITR) engineering processes.
-
Experience in Gas Turbine Accessories, Plant Engineering, or related product engineering is preferred.
