1. Field Surveys & Assessments
• Conduct biodiversity (flora and fauna), habitat, and ecological field surveys.
• Collect, validate, and manage field and secondary data using standard methodologies.
• Coordinate field logistics and stakeholder interactions during surveys.
2. Data Analysis & Reporting
• Analyse ecological and biodiversity data.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, maps, and project deliverables.
• Maintain project databases and documentation.
3. Project & Client Coordination
• Support execution of biodiversity and environmental projects.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, field teams, and stakeholders.
• Track project activities and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
4. Technical & Business Support
• Assist in preparation of proposals and technical documents.
• Support development of biodiversity and nature-based solution projects.
• Keep abreast of emerging practices, policies, and tools in biodiversity conservation.
Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in biodiversity assessment, forestry, ecology, environmental consulting, conservation, or natural resource management.
Educational Qualification
Essential
• Master’s degree in Botany, Zoology, Wildlife, Forestry, Environmental Science/Management, Ecology, Life Sciences, or allied disciplines.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, GIS analysis (QGIS, ArcGIS), PAST 4.0 & R Studio.
Experience in biodiversity surveys and ecological assessments .
Preferred
• Knowledge of GIS (QGIS/ArcGIS).
• Strong field skills.
• Corporate Biodiversity advisory.
Desired Competencies
Familiarity with biodiversity and nature-related assessment, disclosure, and sustainability frameworks/tools such as CBD, ENCORE, IBAT, Biodiversity Risk Filter (BRF), No Net Loss (NNL), Biodiversity Impact & Risk Screening (BIRS), DJSI, CDP, TNFD.
