This role will be part of Hiring for setting up a PMU for CITIIS 2.0 under Housing & Urban Development Department, Government of Odisha. The requirements are as below:
- Education: Postgraduate degree or diploma in Environmental Engineering, Environment Planning or Science or Social Sciences from recognized university or institution
- Total Experience: 15+ years
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in environmental safeguards, social impact assessments. preferably within urban development, infrastructure, or climate adaptation projects.
- At least 3 years in solid waste, wastewater, air quality, and urban ecosystems
- Experience in conducting EIAs (Environmental Impact Assessments), social audits, or community engagement.
- Knowledge of national urban frameworks CSCAF
- International climate frameworks (NAPCC, SAPCC, SDGs, Paris Agreement).
- Experience working with state and local governments, project implementing agencies, and urban institutions.
- Ability to prepare technical reports, presentations, and Policy Brief.
Duration: 2 year contract with an additional 1-year extension possible
