Job Description: Junior Accountant
Location: Udaipur
Salary: 8000-12000 PM
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will provide vital support to our financial department by managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with the preparation of financial reports. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to build a solid foundation in corporate accounting.
### Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry & Ledger Maintenance: Assist with the preparation of financial statements and record daily transactions in the general ledger.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, and reconcile vendor statements.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all financial records align with bank statements.
- Expense Management: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policy.
- Month-End Support: Assist the senior accounting team with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Audit Preparation: Help organize and provide documentation for internal and external audits.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial records are kept in accordance with GAAP and company regulations.
### Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in accounting or a relevant internship.
- Technical Proficiency: * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or Sage).
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
