The Manager – Engineering, Testing, Quality Site Services is responsible for leading and managing the Engineering, Testing, Quality Assurance, and Site Service functions to ensure timely project execution, product quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous process improvement. The role requires cross-functional coordination, technical leadership, and effective resource management while ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Lead and manage the Engineering team for product design, development, and documentation.
- Review engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications, and technical documents.
- Ensure engineering deliverables are completed within project timelines.
- Drive engineering process improvements and standardization.
- Oversee all routine, type, and special testing activities.
- Ensure testing is carried out as per customer specifications and applicable standards.
- Maintain testing equipment calibration and compliance.
- Analyze test results and implement corrective actions when required.
- Lead Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities across manufacturing and project execution.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Monitor quality KPIs such as rejection rates, customer complaints, and CAPA effectiveness.
- Conduct internal audits and support external/customer audits.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
- Manage site installation, commissioning, testing, and after-sales service activities.
- Coordinate with customers to ensure timely project completion.
- Resolve site-related technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor service quality, safety, and project documentation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Engineering, Testing, Quality, and Site Service teams.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet business objectives.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Production, SCM, Sales, and Project Management teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.
- Prepare and present departmental MIS reports and performance dashboards.
- Support new product development and customer inspections.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
