Job Title: QA Automation Engineer
Location: Mohali (On-Site only)
Experience: 3–5 Years
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automated test suites to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and manual QA testers to integrate automation into our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, driving efficiency and reducing time-to-market.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the software design and development team to define testing strategies and verification protocols.
- Identify software application weaknesses and target areas for automation.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts and test cases.
- Review software bug reports, track issues, and highlight critical problem areas.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Design and maintain test databases and automation frameworks.
- Troubleshoot automation issues and improve testing procedures.
- Prepare detailed test reports and ensure product quality standards are met.
- Work closely with developers and designers to resolve application defects and improve overall performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
- Strong knowledge of automation tools and testing frameworks.
- Strong experience with API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools like Jira, TestRail, or Confluence.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and bug lifecycle.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance processes.
- Preferred local candidates only.
