Job Summary: An EXIM (Export-Import) Logistics Manager oversees international trade operations, managing the end-to-end movement of goods, documentation, and customs compliance. Key responsibilities include coordinating with freight forwarders/suppliers, optimizing shipping costs, ensuring regulatory adherence (licenses/permits), and tracking shipments for timely delivery. This role requires 8–10 years of experience, expertise in logistics software (ERP), and strong negotiation skills.
Core Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coordination of export shipments with shipping lines, freight forwarders, CHAs, and transporters.
- Booking of containers and finalization of freight rates (FCL / LCL / Air).
- Pre Shipment & Post Shipment Preparation and review of export logistics documents such as Shipping Instructions, Invoice, Packing List, BL draft, COO, etc.
- Tracking shipments and sharing pre-alerts, VGM, SI, vessel schedules, and ETD/ETA updates with customers.
- Coordination with CHA for customs clearance, stuffing plans, factory stuffing, and port movements.
- Monitoring shipping costs, detention, demurrage, and timely return of containers.
- Ensuring compliance with export regulations, Incoterms, and customer specific requirements.
- Maintaining shipment records and documentation.
- Handling new Advance Authorization, amendment, extension, enhancement, and closure/redemption/ norms fixation of license (DGFT)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or Business Administration.
Experience: 8 – 10 years of experience in EXIM operations.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office (Excel), and customs documentation software.
Key Attributes: Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
