Job Summary
Shree Hanuman Rice Mill is one of the oldest rice mill in kharsia seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to manage the complete accounting operations of the rice mill. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of rice mill billing, GST compliance, waybill generation, statutory requirements, and overall accounting functions. The candidate must be capable of maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complete accounting and bookkeeping activities of the rice mill.
- Prepare and manage rice mill billing, sales invoices, purchase entries, and stock-related accounting.
- Maintain day-to-day cash, bank, and ledger transactions.
- Ensure timely filing of GST returns and compliance with all GST regulations.
- Reconcile GST data with books of accounts and government portals.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Maintain records of paddy procurement, rice sales, by-products, and related transactions.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and government authorities as required.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, taxation, and accounting requirements.
- Generate MIS reports and provide financial analysis to management.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of all financial records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a Rice Mill, Agro Industry, or Manufacturing Unit.
- Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting principles, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in rice mill accounting and billing operations.
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock accounting.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
