Role Description
This is a consultant basis/part-time on-site role for an Occupational Therapist, based in Chennai. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing and implementing customized intervention plans to help patients improve their functional independence and quality of life. Key responsibilities include delivering therapy sessions tailored to the needs of pediatric and adult clients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and tracking progress to ensure the best outcomes for each individual. You will work closely with families and caregivers to provide training and strategies to support continued progress outside therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
✔ Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy
✔ Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
✔ Freshers with good practical knowledge and experience working with children with sensory issues are also welcome
✔ Registered license and certification in the field (preferred)
Eligibility
- Strong expertise and hands-on experience in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation
- Knowledge of Pediatric therapy, including the development of intervention plans for children
- Excellent Communication skills to engage clients, families, and team members effectively
- Familiarity with comorbid conditions and medical considerations associated with therapy
- Commitment to a patient-focused and outcomes-driven approach
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation setting (a plus)
