We are seeking a highly organized and process-driven Visualisation Architect based in India to join our design team.
Reporting directly to the Concept Manager, you will be a core member of the visualisation pod, utilizing expert knowledge in D5 Render and SketchUp to produce high-quality architectural imagery. Because project demands fluctuate, you must also be adaptable—when visualization tasks are light, you will actively transition into hands-on CAD production to support the technical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visualisation & Concept Production: Produce high-quality 3D models and photorealistic renderings using SketchUp and D5 Render under the guidance of the Concept Manager. Ensure all visual assets are delivered on schedule and match the design intent.
- Drafting Support (AutoCAD): During non-peak visualization periods, actively assist the production pods with hands-on 2D drafting, executing redline pickups, and updating detailed drawing packages in AutoCAD.
- Coordination & Execution: Participate in internal coordination meetings. Accurately execute action items and design changes in both the 3D models and 2D CAD files based on markups and handovers from team leads.
- Quality & File Management: Maintain clean, well-organized 3D models, rendering files, and CAD drawings within SharePoint and our Microsoft environment. Ensure your work adheres to firm design standards before passing it up for review.
- Dubai Operations Alignment: Join daily morning standup meetings with the Dubai team to provide progress updates on your deliverables, receive feedback, and align your daily priorities with the Concept Manager.
Requirements:
- Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5+ years of architectural visualization and technical drafting experience in the AEC industry, with a proven ability to manage your own deadlines.
- Software Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in D5 Render and SketchUp for 3D modeling and visualization. Strong, hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD for technical 2D drafting.
- System Familiarity: Knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft environments is preferred for daily file management and team collaboration.
- GCC/Dubai Familiarity: Prior experience with GCC/Dubai design development workflows, CAD standards, and submission timelines is preferred.
- Working Style: Adaptable, detail-oriented, and receptive to feedback. You must be comfortable meeting strict rendering deadlines while seamlessly stepping in to help produce technical 2D drawings when the team needs support.
