ABOUT THE POSITION
The Mgr-Talent Acquisition develops the staffing function to fulfill the company's short and long-term business plans. Provides focus, direction and consistency for core-recruitment practices and acts as a resource for international recruitment. Works with individuals at all levels of the company to analyze staffing needs and develop staffing plans for each department.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Leads end-to-end Talent Acquisition for Columbia Sportswear Company’s India Global Capability Center (GCC) and Supply Chain functions.
- Partners with global and regional leaders to translate workforce strategy into scalable hiring outcomes, build high-performing recruiting teams, and strengthen the Columbia employer brand in India.
- Accountable for hiring quality, governance, recruiter capability, and TA operational excellence while advancing inclusive and future-ready hiring practices.
- Responsibilities:
- Works with leadership team to identify and target recruitment and retention strategies which meet the needs of the organization. Implements staffing plans that ensure a strong candidate flow for current and future vacancies.
- Manages the recruitment process from vacancy to hire by teaming with hiring manager and utilizing internal HR resources. Identifies and implements strategies to effectively reduce time to hire. Manages all pre-employment testing including drug testing and background employment checks.
- Manages staffing vendor contract negotiations, monitors vendor performance, and recommends vendor changes as necessary to ensure the meeting of temporary staffing needs.
- Manages the applicant tracking system and ensures compliance with OFCCP regulations.
- Develops and conducts selection, interviewing, and reference-checking training for hiring manager/employees. Coaches effective interview/selection skills.
- Develops working relationships with other leading corporations to share best practices and ensures recruitment team is kept abreast of new recruitment tools and strategies.
- Manages the day-to-day activities of the recruitment staff including assigning workload, assisting with staffing requests, and validating and continuously assessing recruitment strategies. Develops and mentors associates to ensure that each is working to their highest potential and making appropriate recommendations. Focuses on ensuring that staffing service delivery meets company goals and ensures that the highest level of service is provided. Conducts performance reviews and makes recommendations for training and skill development.
- Work with Dir-Human Resources to recruit for executive-level positions. Understands the need for appropriate data privacy protections when working with employee data.

YOU ARE
- 12+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience
- 5+ years of people leadership experience
- Mandatory experience within a GCC, captive, or global shared services environment
YOU HAVE
- Translate workforce strategy into GCC and Supply Chain hiring roadmaps
- Provide talent market intelligence, demand feasibility, and hiring risk insights
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Talent Acquisition team
- Own hiring governance including intake discipline, SLAs, prioritization, and metrics
- Oversee TA operations, Workday ATS effectiveness, reporting, and vendors
- Drive inclusive, skills-based, and structured hiring practices
- Strengthen employer branding and candidate experience
