MedPG is India’s largest residential NEET PG coaching platform, shaping future specialists.
We are hiring a result-driven Academic Counselor with strong sales instincts to convert MBBS students and graduates into enrolled learners for NEET-PG and INI-CET preparation programs.
This is a high-impact, target-oriented role where you will combine academic counseling with consultative sales—guiding aspirants toward the right course while consistently achieving business goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Conversion & Sales
- Counsel MBBS students and graduates and convert inquiries into paid enrollments.
- Drive admissions for NEET-PG and INI-CET courses, test series, and mentorship programs.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly enrollment targets.
Consultative Counseling
- Understand student goals, preparation level, and pain points.
- Pitch appropriate courses and study plans aligned with student needs and exam timelines.
- Handle objections confidently (fees, time, confidence, past attempts).
Lead Management
- Follow up on warm and hot leads via calls, WhatsApp, and in-person meetings.
- Maintain consistent follow-ups to maximize conversion rates.
- Coordinate with marketing and academic teams for lead closures.
CRM & Reporting
- Update CRM/student records, follow-up status, and conversion data.
- Track funnel metrics: inquiries → counseling → enrollment.
Eligibility & Skills
- Proven 1-4 years experience in academic sales, counseling, or ed-tech admissions.
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Strong ownership mindset and closing ability.
- Any Bachelor’s degree required (Arts / Literature / Psychology/Medical etc).
- English and Hindi – mandatory (spoken fluency required).
- Regional languages like Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada are a strong advantage.
- Willing to work strictly from office
