1. Inventory Allocation & Order Follow-UpSecure Stock Allocations: Lock in container-load orders of panels, inverters, or batteries from factory production lines to prevent key accounts from facing project delays.Track Lead Times: Provide real-time shipping updates, factory output statuses, and estimated times of arrival (ETA) for high-volume wholesale shipments.Manage Order Pipelines: Follow up on pending purchase orders (POs) and proforma invoices to ensure seamless product dispatch.
2. Supply Chain & Shipping LogisticsCoordinate Freight & Customs: Partner with logistics providers to oversee global shipping, ocean freight, customs clearance, and domestic trucking for large-volume deliveries.Oversee Multi-Warehouse Delivery: Direct shipments from the closest regional warehouse to minimize transit costs for the client.Handle Shipping Discrepancies: Resolve transit issues immediately, such as shipping damage (e.g., micro-cracks in PV modules) or missing components, by filing rapid replacement claims.
3. Financial Coordination & Credit ManagementManage Credit Lines: Work with finance to track key accounts' credit limits, outstanding balances, and payment terms (e.g., Net 30, Letter of Credit).Track Payment Milestones: Follow up on deposits required to trigger factory production or warehouse dispatch.Process Tiered Pricing Discounts: Apply pre-negotiated volume discounts or rebate structures specific to each distributor or EPC account contract.
4. Technical Product Support LiaisonCoordinate Spec Sheet Delivery: Provide technical data sheets, flash reports, manufacturer warranties, and tier-1 bankability certificates to client engineering teams.Manage Warranty Claims: Act as the internal bridge between the client and factory engineering teams to process hardware warranty claims or return merchandise authorizations (RMAs).Update Product Availability: Proactively alert key accounts about product lifecycle changes, upcoming model upgrades, or product phase-outs.
5. Account Performance AnalyticsTrack Purchase Volumes: Monitor monthly and quarterly product intake patterns per account to catch sudden drops in ordering or inventory hoarding.Forecast Component Demand: Aggregate client purchasing forecasts to help the procurement team build accurate rolling factory orders.Monitor Account Profitability: Generate reports analyzing margins across different product lines (e.g., high-margin batteries vs. low-margin racking) for the Account Manager.
