Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Chip Level Technician with hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing laptop and desktop motherboards at the component level. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and experience using soldering and testing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair laptop and desktop motherboards at the chip/component level.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues related to ICs, BIOS, power circuits, charging circuits, and display circuits.
- Perform SMD and BGA soldering, desoldering, and component replacement.
- Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, DC power supplies, and soldering/rework stations.
- Repair and replace faulty components including MOSFETs, capacitors, resistors, ICs, and connectors.
- Flash and update BIOS firmware when required.
- Test repaired systems to ensure proper functionality and quality standards.
- Maintain repair records and report recurring technical issues.
- Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and safety procedures while handling electronic components.
Required Skills
- Chip-level motherboard troubleshooting.
- SMD and BGA soldering skills.
- BIOS flashing and firmware updates.
- Circuit analysis and fault diagnosis.
- Knowledge of laptop and desktop hardware architecture.
- Ability to read electronic circuit diagrams and schematics.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualification
- Diploma/ITI/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Hardware, or a related field.
- Relevant certification in chip-level servicing is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
