Job Summary
In this role, you will work at the intersection of high-speed digital design, real-time embedded systems, and optical communications. You will design and implement low-latency, high-throughput processing pipelines on advanced SoC FPGA platforms such as Xilinx Zynq, MPSoC, and Versal.
This is a highly hands-on role involving hardware–software co-design, where you will integrate custom RTL IP with ARM-based embedded software to efficiently process high-speed data streams and enable real-time signal processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance digital signal processing (DSP) pipelines on FPGA
- Develop and integrate custom RTL IP cores with embedded ARM processors
- Implement and optimize modulation, coding, synchronization, and signal processing algorithms
- Design and debug AXI-based high-speed data paths
- Perform hardware/software co-design and system-level optimization
- Support board bring-up, system integration, and debugging
- Optimize system performance for latency, throughput, and power efficiency
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across optics, RF, and system engineering
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Electronics/ Electrical Engineering/ Communication/ VLSI Design or Embedded Systems with 2 -3 years of experience in design role.
- Proficiency in SoC FPGA design, development and simulation tools (Xilinx Vivado/Vitis, ModelSim/Questasim)
- Hands-on experience with SoC FPGA platforms (Xilinx Zynq / MPSoC / Versal)
- Solid understanding of embedded software development (C/C++ on ARM processors)
- Experience with AXI interfaces, DMA, memory-mapped systems
- Experience with high-speed data processing pipelines
- Familiarity with FPGA toolchains (Vivado, Vitis, etc.)
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across HW & SW domains.
- Good communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to handle complex system-level problems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in laser communication / LiDAR / Laser-based sensors and photonics technologies
- Knowledge of FEC techniques, synchronization techniques and Modulation schemes (OOK, BPSK, QPSK)
- Experience with high-speed ADC/DAC interfaces
- Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink
