Key Responsibilities
1) Logistics Documentation & Data Management
Handle daily data entry related to logistics activities, material movement, and inventory transactions.
Maintain accurate records of cargo movements, drilling inventory, and material movement activity.
Ensure inventory data is controlled, updated, and accurate in the system.
Support reporting and tracking related to logistics and material movement for drilling operations.
2) Import / Export Documentation
Acquire and maintain all required import and export documentation.
Handle documentation related to customs clearance, freight movement, and shipment records.
Ensure proper maintenance and filing of all import/export and cargo-related documents.
Coordinate logistics paperwork to support smooth movement of drilling-related materials and equipment.
3) Freight, Customs & Transport Coordination
Be involved in customs and freight-related matters, including:
Freight bill negotiation
Freight bill verification
Shipment coordination
Liaise with transport agencies, freight partners, and logistics vendors for movement of cargo/materials.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely order management and order fulfillment.
4) Inventory & Material Control
Support inventory management and control activities related to drilling materials and logistics movement.
Ensure drilling inventory is properly tracked and maintained with high accuracy.
Provide support for material supply and warehouse coverage, as required for drilling operations.
Assist in logistics planning to optimize time management and material availability.
5) Operational Support
Provide logistics and material supply support for drilling operations on location, as needed.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure materials are available and documented correctly.
Perform other duties assigned by the Manager / Supervisor in relation to logistics, materials, and documentation.

Candidate Profile / Required Experience
Education
Bachelor's Degree
Experience
4-5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector, specifically in logistics-related documentation.
Strong exposure to:
Import / Export documentation
Customs and freight coordination
Cargo movement records
Inventory / logistics data entry
Transport coordination
Material movement support for operations
Required Skills & Competencies
Functional / Technical Skills
Good knowledge of Import & Export documentation is mandatory.
Experience in logistics documentation, freight handling, customs coordination, and cargo tracking.
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
Familiarity with logistics software / inventory systems.
Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel.
Ability to manage documentation accurately in a fast-paced operational environment.
Soft Skills
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong coordination and follow-up skills with transporters, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while handling operational priorities.
Flexible to work extended hours / weekends, if required.
High School Diploma or equivalent 0-3 years of experience in Logistics and/or operation support areas. Intermediate level Microsoft Office Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills Ability to influence and interact effectively with diverse and conflicting internal and external priorities Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with minimum supervision Detail oriented with a structured approach to process and documentation Foster and maintain a professional attitude and teamwork concept among all staff within all areas of the organization Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to work a flexible schedule, after hours, and maintain an on-call status. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Technical degree preferred Previous industry experience, with specific DD/HZ experience considered an asset Previous experience in Wellbore Placement tool logistics or dispatching considered an asset
Liaise with operations to ensure equipment is delivered in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure accurate tool requests and delivery schedules. Analyze tool availability for forecasted activity. Source assets as required. Liaise with vendors to source 3rd party rental assets. Ensure tool shortages are flagged with operations Ensure that all equipment deliveries and returns are managed incompliance to policies. Ensure replacement tool requirements are met for ongoing jobs. Ensure that job to job transfers are done within policies. Schedule transportation for all equipment request include 3rd party rentals Manage and report the load out request tracking sheet Manage and report utilization for all products Work directly with asset coordinator to ensure Apps is accurate at all times Ensure all equipment coming from completed jobs have been properly processed incompliance of policies and procedures Schedule transportation of equipment into the proper maintenance facility. Return 3rd party rental equipment. Ensure all equipment sent to locations is returned. Supply �Tools on Job� reports to operations on a regular basis. Flag any outstanding tools not received after jobs are completed. Perform any additional duties assigned by management. Work in accordance with NDS� Safety procedures.
