Job Summary
As an MBA Counselor / Mentor, you will guide MBA aspirants through the admissions process, career planning, exam preparation strategies (CAT, CMAT, MAT, etc.), and post-MBA career options. You will also support prospective students in decision-making and college selection.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized MBA admissions guidance — including college shortlisting, specialization advice, and application planning.
- Help students prepare for entrance exams (CAT/CMAT/MAT/SNAP/GMAT) with study strategies & mock evaluations.
- Offer guidance on SOPs, resume building, interview preparation, group discussions (GD/PI), and final admission decisions.
Communication & Lead Handling
- Handle walk-in, telephonic, and online inquiries from students and parents.
- Maintain follow-ups to convert inquiries into enrolled students.
- Build and maintain strong rapport with students, parents, and related stakeholders.
Record Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate counselling records, lead pipelines, and admission data.
- Report weekly/monthly progress to the Head of Counselling or Centre Manager.
Skills & Competencies

✔ Ability to guide students through decision-making processes
✔ Good knowledge of MBA entrance exams & college selection
✔ Target-oriented with the ability to follow through on enquiries
✔ Basic computer skills (MS Office, CRM/Lead tracking preferred)
