Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and skilled 2D Animator to create engaging, high-quality animated videos for educational and digital content. The candidate should have strong skills in character animation, storytelling, motion graphics and visual design.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging 2D animated videos based on scripts, storyboards and creative briefs.
- Design and animate characters, backgrounds, objects and scenes.
- Develop storyboards and visual sequences according to project requirements.
- Create smooth character movements, expressions and transitions.
- Synchronise animations with voice-overs, music and sound effects.
- Create educational animations that are visually appealing and easy to understand.
- Work closely with content writers, graphic designers and other team members.
- Make revisions based on feedback and deliver projects within deadlines.
- Maintain consistency in animation style, characters and overall visual quality.
- Organise and maintain project files and reusable animation assets.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of 2D animation principles, character animation and storytelling.
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, video editing and basic sound synchronisation.
- Good understanding of composition, colour, typography and visual communication.
- Ability to convert scripts and concepts into engaging visual stories.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Animation, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field.
- Experience in creating educational videos, explainer videos, children’s content or e-learning animations will be preferred.
- A strong portfolio/showreel of 2D animation work is required.
