We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Department and contribute to delivering safe, efficient, and patient-focused pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately as per valid prescriptions while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Review prescriptions for completeness, dosage accuracy, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
- Counsel patients and caregivers on the proper use, storage, dosage, and potential side effects of medications.
- Maintain accurate records of dispensing activities and inventory transactions.
- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and storage conditions to ensure uninterrupted availability of medicines.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, pharmacy regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
- Handle narcotic and high-risk medications as per statutory requirements.
- Participate in medication safety initiatives, audits, and continuous quality improvement activities.
- Assist in inventory management, procurement planning, and minimizing medicine wastage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy and ensure adherence to infection control practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / D.Pharm).
- Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration.
- 3–5 years of experience in a multi-specialty hospital pharmacy.
- Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and hospital pharmacy operations.
- Familiarity with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and pharmacy management software is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
