Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in IT service sales, online bidding, and staff augmentation, with a strong ability to generate leads, build client relationships, and close business opportunities. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to sales, and the ability to work with international clients across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through online bidding platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, Guru, PeoplePerHour, and similar marketplaces.
- Prepare customized proposals, project bids, and cover letters based on client requirements.
- Generate qualified leads for IT services, software development, and staff augmentation solutions.
- Engage with international clients, primarily from the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, to understand business needs and propose suitable solutions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and proposal submission to negotiation and deal closure.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with technical, HR, and delivery teams to develop tailored solutions and resource proposals.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market opportunities, and competitor activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT Business Development, IT Sales, or Online Bidding.
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, Guru, PeoplePerHour, or similar.
- Strong understanding of IT services, software development, outsourcing, and staff augmentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to prepare winning proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals independently.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce, or similar.
- Knowledge of LinkedIn lead generation, cold emailing, and outbound sales strategies.
- Understanding of software development technologies and the ability to coordinate effectively with technical teams.
- Strong negotiation and business communication skills.
