Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and result-driven Business Development Executive who can proactively generate new business opportunities and bring projects to the company through multiple channels.
This role is not limited to Upwork bidding. The ideal candidate should be comfortable identifying potential clients, reaching out directly through LinkedIn, email, calls, networking, freelance platforms, and other lead-generation methods. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of business growth, understands client requirements, builds relationships, and consistently works toward closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, approach, and engage potential clients through LinkedIn, email outreach, cold calling, networking, and freelance platforms.
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into business opportunities.
- Manage bidding activities on platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, and similar marketplaces.
- Understand client requirements, conduct discovery discussions, and propose suitable solutions.
- Prepare customized proposals, quotations, and project pitches.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Follow up with prospects and nurture leads throughout the sales cycle.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to create effective project proposals.
- Track sales activities, leads, proposals, and business opportunities using CRM tools and reports.
- Meet monthly business development targets and revenue goals.
- Research market trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience in lead generation and client acquisition.
- Ability to independently identify and approach prospective clients.
- Strong understanding of business development and sales processes.
- Experience in preparing proposals, project estimations, and client presentations.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other lead-generation platforms.
- Knowledge of IT services, software development, web development, mobile applications, or digital solutions.
- Additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Experience working with international clients.
Experience
- 1+ year of experience in Business Development, IT Sales, Lead Generation, or Bidding.
