Retail Sales Executive – Job Description
Role Overview:
A Retail Sales Executive is responsible for assisting customers, promoting products, achieving sales targets, and ensuring an excellent in-store shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and understand their requirements
- Explain product features, benefits, and pricing
- Achieve daily & monthly sales targets
- Cross-sell and upsell products
- Maintain showroom display and visual merchandising standards
- Handle billing and POS operations
- Manage stock availability and coordinate with the inventory team
- Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally
- Maintain customer relationship and collect feedback
- Follow company policies, SOPs, and grooming standards
Required Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Convincing & negotiation ability
- Customer handling skills
- Basic computer/POS knowledge

- Teamwork and positive attitude
Qualification
- Any Graduate / Diploma / 12th Pass (Retail experience preferred)
Experience
- 0 – 3 years in retail sales / showroom sales (Freshers can apply)
Work Environment
- Retail showroom / store
- Rotational shifts & weekend availability required
