Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care
- Provide direct nursing care to neonates admitted in the NICU.
- Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, temperature, and clinical condition of newborns.
- Assist in stabilization and resuscitation of neonates during emergencies.
- Maintain accurate intake-output charts and nursing documentation.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and feeds as prescribed.
- Handle ventilators, CPAP, infusion pumps, phototherapy units, and other NICU equipment.
- Assist doctors during procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, lumbar puncture, and exchange transfusion.
Infection Control & Safety
- Follow strict aseptic and infection control protocols.
- Ensure proper hand hygiene and sterilization practices.
- Maintain safe handling of biomedical waste.
Family Support & Education
- Educate parents regarding newborn care, breastfeeding, kangaroo mother care, and discharge instructions.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to parents of critically ill babies.
Documentation & Coordination
- Maintain nursing records, medication charts, and progress notes accurately.
- Coordinate with pediatricians, neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare staff.
- Participate in shift handovers and clinical audits.
Quality & Compliance
- Adhere to hospital policies, NABH/JCI protocols, and nursing standards.
- Participate in continuous nursing education and training programs.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
