The Role:
We're looking for a video editor who understands that editing is storytelling.
Someone who can take raw footage and find the narrative within it. Someone who knows when to let a moment breathe, when to build momentum and how to create content that captures attention without losing authenticity.
This role is ideal for someone who thinks beyond transitions and trends and understands how editing shapes emotion, meaning and brand perception.
What You'll Do:
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, campaigns, brand films and digital platforms.
- Transform raw footage into compelling stories that align with a brand's voice and identity.
- Create content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube and other digital formats.
- Collaborate with videographers, copywriters, designers and strategists.
- Source and integrate music, sound design, graphics, captions and motion elements.
- Maintain consistency across brand content and campaign deliverables.
- Organize footage, manage project files and ensure timely delivery of edits.
What We're Looking For:
- 1–4 years of experience in video editing, post-production or content creation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or equivalent editing software.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, rhythm and visual narrative.
- Good sense of music, sound design and how audio influences emotion.
- Ability to adapt editing styles across different brands and audiences.
- Understanding of social-first content and platform-specific best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
Bonus Points If You:
- Have experience with motion graphics and animation (After Effects).
- Understand color correction and basic color grading.
- Have worked with food, hospitality, lifestyle, FMCG or culture-led brands.
- Are familiar with content trends without relying solely on them.
- Have experience editing documentaries, interviews or story-led content.
