What you’ll Get to Do:

You will be responsible for creating and implementing maintenance strategies for electrical equipment in the plant. This will include planning preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, identifying potential risks, and optimizing maintenance processes.

You will be responsible for preparing list of all electrical/mechnical equipment list and ensuring that all equipment in the plant is operating smoothly and efficiently. This may involve conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting and repairing equipment failures, and identifying opportunities to improve equipment performance.

Perform troubleshooting and basic programming support for PLC-controlled machines and automation systems.

Manage plant utilities including electrical systems, DG sets, air compressors, HVAC systems, water supply systems, lighting systems, and fire protection systems.

Ensure preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of HVAC systems used in production, warehouse, office, and controlled environments.

Manage maintenance expenses budgeting for routine activities, equipment reconditioning/ upgradation projects, low cost automation integration

Managing a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their jobs.
- You will work closely with other teams within the plant, including production, engineering, and quality assurance teams, to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with overall plant goals and objectives.

Ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards. This may involve conducting safety inspections, implementing safety protocols, and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained to prevent accidents and injuries.

Develop, implement and monitor the company's Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) management systems.

Ensure compliance with Factories Act, Telangana Factories Rules, Fire Safety regulations, Environmental regulations and other applicable statutory requirements.

Conduct workplace hazard identification, risk assessment and implementation of mitigation measures.

Lead safety inspections, safety audits and compliance reviews across plant and office facilities.

Ensure effective implementation of Permit to Work (PTW), Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), Work at Height, Electrical Safety and Contractor Safety systems.

Organize safety induction and periodic safety training programs for employees, contractors, interns and visitors.

Conduct mock drills, emergency preparedness exercises and evacuation programs.

Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses and unsafe acts/conditions and ensure closure of corrective and preventive actions.

Monitor PPE compliance and promote a strong safety culture across the organization.

Coordinate with government authorities during inspections and ensure closure of observations.

Maintain all safety records, statutory registers, licenses and compliance documentation.
-
Ensure readiness of fire protection and firefighting systems.
-
Conduct periodic inspection and maintenance of fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms and emergency equipment.

Coordinate annual fire safety audits and compliance activities.
-
Lead Emergency Response Team (ERT) activities and crisis management initiatives.
-
Monitor waste management, hazardous waste disposal and environmental compliance requirements.

Ensure adherence to Pollution Control Board regulations.

Drive energy conservation and sustainability initiatives including solar power utilization and utility optimization.

Ensure safety compliance of electrical installations, DG sets, compressors, HVAC systems, material handling equipment and utilities.

Review infrastructure modifications from safety and compliance perspectives.

Ensure contractor and vendor safety compliance during project execution.

Education & Experience:

B.E/B.Tech – Mechanical/Electrical/EEE (Full Time)
Additional Qualification Requirement
Preferred:
-
Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by State Government or NEBOSH / IOSH certification (added advantage) or Experience in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 implementation.

Valid 11 KV / 33 KV Electrical Supervisor License (Mandatory)
-
Minimum of 8-10 years post qualification experience in the field of plant maintenance/Machinery or Equipment in manufacturing plant.
-
Experience in implementing in preventive & predictive maintenance system
-
Skilled in promoting & implementing TPM, CFT, Quality Circle, TPS, 5S, 3M, 3G, Kaizen activities, erection/ commissioning.

Hands-on experience in PLC troubleshooting and industrial automation systems.
-
Strong understanding of MTTR, MTBF, OEE, and reliability engineering concepts.
-
Experience in Utility Management, including electrical distribution, DG sets, compressors, and HVAC systems.

Knowledge of HVAC maintenance, energy management, and utility optimization
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Accident investigation experience
-
Ability to work well in a team environment.

Proven strong organizational skills.
