Accounts Payable Executive – Solar Industry
Role Overview
The Accounts Payable Executive will be responsible for managing vendor payments, expense tracking, and reconciliation processes for solar projects (rooftop C&I and ground-mount). This role ensures accurate financial records, timely disbursements, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Payments
- Process invoices for solar modules, inverters, structures, cables, and other project materials.
- Verify purchase orders, contracts, and delivery notes before releasing payments.
- Ensure timely payments to vendors while maintaining healthy cash flow.
- Expense Management
- Track project-related expenses and align them with budgets.
- Monitor advances, settlements, and reimbursements for site teams.
- Highlight cost variances to management for corrective action.
- Reconciliation & Reporting
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare AP aging reports and maintain payment schedules.
- Support monthly closing activities and audits.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and payment approvals.
- Coordinate with procurement and finance teams for smooth workflows.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
- 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in solar/renewable energy or EPC industry.
- Strong knowledge of vendor payment cycles, statutory compliance, and ERP/accounting systems (Tally/ERP).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical ability.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
