An EdTech Tele-Counselor drives enrollments by matching prospective students with the right courses. The role combines inside sales, lead generation, and career guidance.
Responsibilities
- Lead Conversion: Manage inbound and outbound leads (via calls, WhatsApp, and email) to convert inquiries into paid student enrollments.
- Structured Counseling: Conduct ~35-minute sessions to assess a student's background and career goals, mapping them to the most suitable courses.
- Sales & Persuasion: Explain program features, curriculum, pricing, and career outcomes, while successfully handling objections.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of interactions, follow-ups, and lead stages in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Post-Admission Support: Assist new learners with onboarding and act as a bridge between students and the academic/support teams.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (degrees in communication or business are highly preferred).
- Experience: 0-4 years in EdTech sales, academic counseling, or tele-sales (though freshers with excellent communication are sometimes accepted).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written command of English
- Sales Acumen: Comfort with a target-oriented environment, persuasive negotiation, and strong lead tracking abilities.
Pay: ₹11,045.07 - ₹35,412.07 per month
