Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong background in the Travel and Tourism industry in Bangalore Location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires local market knowledge and fieldwork across assigned locations.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Identify and develop new business opportunities in the travel and tourism sector
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and partners
3. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
4. Conduct regular field visits and client meetings
5. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements
6. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
7. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
8. Prepare sales reports and business development updates
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Travel & Tourism, or a related field
2. 0 – 5 years of experience in travel and tourism sales/business development
Must-Have Skills
1. Strong communication and negotiation skills
2. Proven ability to generate leads and close deals
3. Good understanding of travel products, services, and market dynamics
4. Ability to work independently and meet targets
5. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
6. Willingness to travel locally for fieldwork
Mandatory Requirements
* Candidate must own a two-wheeler
* Valid driving license
