We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our academic services team. The role involves interacting with prospective clients through phone calls and WhatsApp, understanding their requirements, generating and nurturing leads, converting inquiries into successful projects, and coordinating with the internal operations team to ensure timely delivery and regular client updates.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a persuasive personality, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound client interactions via phone calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Generate and qualify leads from various online and offline sources.
- Understand client requirements related to academic support services, research assistance, paper publication, journal selection, editing, formatting, and related offerings.
- Explain service offerings, pricing, timelines, and publication processes clearly and professionally.
- Convert leads into confirmed orders through effective follow-up and relationship management.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, and sales activities in CRM or tracking systems.
- Coordinate with the internal research and operations teams after order confirmation.
- Provide clients with periodic status updates regarding task progress and delivery milestones.
- Address client queries and ensure a smooth post-sales experience.
- Achieve monthly sales and conversion targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. Additional regional language proficiency is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and client-handling abilities.
- Comfortable using WhatsApp Business, Google Workspace, CRM tools, and basic office software.
- Ability to multitask, manage follow-ups, and work in a target-driven environment.
- Prior experience in telesales, educational consulting, academic services, or customer support is preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred Experience
- 0-3 years of experience in sales, business development, customer relationship management, or academic consulting.
- Familiarity with research publication processes, Scopus/Web of Science journals, manuscript editing, or educational services will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
