Shree Niketan School is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Music Teacher to support the academic, emotional, social, and behavioral development of students at our Thiruvallur Campus.
Candidates with relevant experience may apply
Typical duties include:
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for students.
- Teach vocal music, rhythm, basic music theory, and appreciation of music.
- Prepare students for school assemblies, competitions, cultural events, and Annual Day performances.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, and teamwork through music.
- Identify and nurture students with musical talent.
- Organize choir, music clubs, and other extracurricular music activities.
- Maintain lesson plans, attendance, and student progress records.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to support school events and activities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Music, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- Diploma or Certification in Music is preferred.
- Formal training in Carnatic, Western, Hindustani, or instrumental music is an added advantage.
Experience
- Freshers with strong musical skills and a passion for teaching are welcome to apply.
- Prior teaching experience in a school is preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong vocal and/or instrumental music skills.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of different age groups.
- Creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for teaching.
- Ability to prepare students for stage performances and competitions.
