We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for verifying and approving employee expense claims, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing Excel-based reports, and supporting daily accounting operations.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Verify, review, and approve sales team field expense claims via Zoho Expense, ensuring adherence to company policies and timely reimbursements.
- Prepare and maintain Excel-based financial reports as required by management.
- Assist in maintaining organized financial records and documentation.
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Tax teams when required.
- Coordinate with vendors for office supplies and maintenance.
- Handle data entry and accounting entries in ERP/accounting systems.
- Support other team members during their absence to ensure continuity of work.
- Support the team with ad-hoc queries, reports, and tasks as needed.
What Experience & Skills You Will Need:
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 of years of experience in accounts or related roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Experience of ERP/accounting systems
- Good problem-solving skills
