Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) for our organization. This role involves managing end-to-end project delivery, from initial planning through execution and go-live support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O implementations, including financial modules, supply chain management, and operations. They will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams, ensuring milestones are met, and delivering the project within scope, budget, and time constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:
- Lead the full project lifecycle of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O implementations, from initiation to post-implementation support.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, budget, timelines, resources, and key deliverables.
- Ensure project goals are clearly defined and aligned with business objectives.
Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, consultants, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders, providing project updates, managing expectations, and addressing any issues or risks.
Team Management:
- Lead cross-functional teams consisting of business analysts, developers, solution architects, and end-users.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure team members meet project deliverables.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project team members.
Risk & Issue Management:
- Identify potential risks, dependencies, and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all challenges are addressed promptly, escalating any critical concerns to senior management when necessary.
Budget & Resource Management:
- Manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively.
- Track project costs and ensure implementation remains within the approved budget.
Change Management:
- Facilitate change management processes to ensure business users adapt smoothly to the new ERP system.
- Provide training and support to end-users during and after implementation to maximize the value of Dynamics 365 F&O.
Testing & Go-Live:
- Oversee system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and final go-live activities.
- Ensure post-go-live stabilization and provide ongoing support to resolve any system-related issues.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years of experience managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or AX implementations.
- Strong experience in leading ERP implementations in areas like finance, supply chain, and manufacturing.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and consultants.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
Skills:
- In-depth understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and its related modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.).
- Proven ability to manage and execute complex ERP projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to navigate and resolve complex project challenges and drive timely decision-making.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Jira, or other project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in industries such as manufacturing, retail, finance, or logistics.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or other DevOps tools for managing custom development or integrations in Dynamics 365.
- Experience in change management methodologies and end-user training during ERP rollouts.
