Job Title: Planning Engineer – Construction Division

Job Overview
The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing project schedules, monitoring progress, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring project timelines and budgets are met in accordance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project
✔ Prepare baseline programs, look-ahead schedules & progress reports
✔ Track project milestones, update schedules based on site progress
✔ Monitor resource allocation (manpower, materials, machinery)
✔ Coordinate with the Site Execution Team & Project Manager for timely progress
✔ Identify delays, risks & critical paths and suggest corrective actions
✔ Assist in preparation of cash flows, S-curves, quantity forecasting
✔ Prepare project planning documents like CPM charts, Bar charts & histograms
✔ Prepare reports for client meetings and management reviews
✔ Ensure compliance with contractual timelines and planning requirements
Qualification Requirements
Education:
- BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Good knowledge of construction methods and project execution
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage
Experience Required
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Planning role within civil construction projects
- Experience in building high rise construction projects preferred
Salary Range
(Based on candidate’s experience and evaluation)
- ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month (based on skills)
