Job Role Overview:
The selected candidate will be responsible for end-to-end procurement planning, sourcing, vendor negotiations, commercial documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services for ongoing projects. This role also involves cost control, compliance with GST/TDS provisions, and coordination with the finance and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:Procurement & Sourcing:
- Float inquiries, evaluate quotations, and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate rates, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Issue Purchase Orders based on approved requisitions and budgets.
- Track order fulfilment and coordinate logistics/deliveries at project sites.
Vendor & Material Management:
- Identify new vendors for materials, services, and subcontracting.
- Maintain a reliable vendor database with rate history and documentation.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews and support vendor onboarding.
- Ensure quality and quantity checks are aligned with the BOQ/technical specs.
Commercial Compliance & Billing:
- Verify invoices and supporting documents as per PO and delivery.
- Ensure correct application of GST, TDS, and MSME compliance.
- Coordinate with Finance team for bill processing, ledger reconciliation, and payment tracking.
- Maintain documentation for audit and taxation purposes.
Project Coordination & Reporting:
- Work closely with Project and Site Teams for material planning and forecasting.
- Monitor procurement timelines against project schedules.
- Prepare weekly/monthly procurement reports and MIS for management.
- Escalate supply chain issues proactively for resolution.
Skills & Competencies Required:
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and commercial terms.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and invoice verification.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, Tally, Zoho Books, or ERP systems.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and coordinate across departments.
- Knowledge of construction/interior project materials is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
