Job Summary
Responsible for operating and monitoring chemical plant equipment and supporting production activities safely and efficiently as per SOPs, GMP, and EHS requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor reactors, centrifuges, dryers, filters, pumps, and other process equipment.
- Perform material charging, transfer, filtration, drying, and other process operations as per SOP/BMR.
- Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, vacuum, pH, and flow.
- Maintain production logbooks, equipment records, and batch documentation.
- Follow GMP, SOP, EHS, and safety procedures during production activities.
- Handle chemicals and raw materials safely using proper PPE.
- Report equipment abnormalities, leakages, deviations, and process issues to the supervisor.
- Support equipment cleaning, line clearance, and changeover activities.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S in the production area.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, QA, QC, and other departments as required.
- Ensure safe operation of equipment and compliance with plant safety standards.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of chemical plant operations and process equipment.
- Knowledge of chemical handling and industrial safety.
- Understanding of SOPs, GMP, and documentation.
- Good observation and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
Candidate Profile
ITI AOCP-qualified candidates with basic knowledge of chemical plant operations, equipment handling, safety practices, and production processes. Freshers can be considered based on technical knowledge and willingness to work in shifts.
