Key Responsibilities:
Backend Development
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend APIs using FastAPI (Python)
- Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and cloud storage (Amazon S3) for data ingestion, retrieval, and processing.
- Implement secure, scalable, and high-performance REST APIs.
Geometry & Mesh Processing
- Work with 3D mesh data using Python libraries such as:
- Open3D
- NumPy
- trimesh (for mesh repair, smoothing, cleanup)
- Build and enhance internal tools for:
- Mesh transformation
- Mesh quality improvement
- Geometry analysis
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of professional experience as a Python Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Python, NumPy, and backend frameworks (FastAPI preferred).
- Good understanding of 3D geometry, vector math, and mesh data structures.
- Experience with Open3D, trimesh, or similar 3D toolkits.
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL SQL queries and schema design.
- Experience working with AWS S3 for file storage.
- Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
- Comfort working with Git, CI/CD, and modern development workflows.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Backend, AI/ML, Visualization).
- Clear communication and documentation skills.
