You'll run the founder's calendar, travel and follow-ups, and keep our Bangalore office running. Small team, lots of moving parts, and you're the person holding it all together.
Plotline is backed by Elevation Capital and works with Dream11, Upstox, Zepto, and others.
At a 30-person startup, the founder's time is quite expensive.
You'll see how the company actually runs, before almost anyone else does.
Day to day, you'll manage the founder's calendar, book travel, chase follow-ups from meetings, and deal with whatever the office throws at you.
Key challenges:
Speed: Plans change daily. You reschedule, rebook and reshuffle without letting anything slip.
Judgment: Not everything needs the founder. You figure out what does, and protect focus time for it.
Q1: Calendar runs without conflicts. Travel is booked right the first time. Follow-ups from meetings don't get lost. The office runs well.
Year 1: The founder spends visibly more time on what matters. Offsites and events are planned and executed well. Vendors deliver on time and get paid on time.
Own the founder's calendar. Schedule meetings, resolve conflicts before they happen, keep priorities in order.
Track follow-ups and open items from meetings so nothing falls through.
Put together short briefs before important meetings: who we're meeting, why, and what we want out of it.
Handle confidential information carefully. You'll be trusted with a lot.
Book flights, hotels and cabs for business trips. Get the details right.
Plan company offsites and internal events end to end.
Keep the office clean, stocked and working. Manage housekeeping and office vendors.
Handle vendor relationships: maintenance, catering, supplies. On-time delivery, on-time payments.
2-5 years in an EA, admin, or operations role. Startup experience helps.
Clear written and spoken English.
Comfortable with Google Calendar, Sheets and Docs.
Full-time from our Bangalore office in HSR Layout.
Organized to a fault. Loose ends bother you.
You think a step ahead and fix small problems before they grow.
Self-sufficient. Nobody manages your to-do list; you manage everyone else's.
Discreet. A lot of what crosses your desk stays with you.
Direct and fast.
