About the Position
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Faculty Member for Food & Beverage (F&B) Operations in our Hotel Management department. The candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in all aspects of food and beverage service, including restaurant operations, in-room dining, kitchen coordination, and banquet management, while preparing them for successful careers in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach theory and practical courses related to Food & Beverage Operations.
- Train students in restaurant service, banquet operations, room service, and hospitality standards.
- Conduct practical demonstrations, laboratory sessions, and workshops.
- Develop lesson plans, course materials, assessments, and industry-relevant learning activities.
- Guide students in projects, internships, industrial training, and placements.
- Maintain training restaurants, service labs, and related facilities.
- Evaluate student performance and provide academic mentoring.
- Stay updated with hospitality industry trends and incorporate best practices into teaching.
- Participate in curriculum development, accreditation activities, and departmental initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management/Hospitality Management (Master's degree preferred).
- Relevant industry experience in Food & Beverage Operations within hotels, resorts, restaurants, or hospitality establishments.
- Prior teaching or training experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant service, banquet operations, in-room dining, and hospitality standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Industry certifications in hospitality or food & beverage service.
- Experience in curriculum design and student mentoring.
- Strong practical training and demonstration abilities.
- Passion for academic excellence and student development.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
