Job Title: Full Stack Node.js Developer — Strapi & React
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Node.js Developer with strong expertise in Strapi CMS, Node.js, and React. The ideal candidate should be able to design, build, customize, and maintain scalable backend services, CMS-driven applications, APIs, and modern frontend interfaces.
This role is suitable for someone who is hands-on, technically strong, and comfortable working across both backend and frontend development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js
- Design and customize Strapi CMS applications, content types, APIs, roles, permissions, and plugins
- Build REST and GraphQL APIs for frontend and third-party integrations
- Develop responsive frontend applications using React
- Integrate frontend applications with Strapi and other backend APIs
- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite
- Implement authentication, authorization, and secure API access
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Troubleshoot production issues and support deployment activities
- Collaborate with product, design, and technical teams to deliver high-quality features
- Follow clean coding practices, version control, and CI/CD workflows
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proven hands-on experience with Strapi CMS
- Good knowledge of React.js and modern frontend development
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Understanding of backend architecture, middleware, routing, validation, and error handling
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Knowledge of authentication methods such as JWT, OAuth, or session-based authentication
- Experience with Git and standard development workflows
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code
Nice to Have
- Experience with Strapi plugin development or advanced customization
- Experience with Next.js
- Knowledge of Docker, Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of performance optimization and caching
- Experience with payment gateways, search, file storage, or third-party API integrations
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who can take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from database and API design to frontend implementation and deployment. They should be comfortable working independently, solving technical problems, and making practical architecture decisions.
