Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to design, develop, and supervise infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, and water systems. The candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while complying with all regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects
- Conduct site investigations and analyze survey reports, maps, and data
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and project schedules
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national building codes and regulations
- Review and approve engineering plans and drawings
- Supervise construction activities and ensure quality control
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Identify and resolve design and construction issues
- Perform risk assessments and ensure safety standards are met
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and construction methods
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or STAAD
- Familiarity with project management tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of environmental and sustainability practices
