About the role
Expert Resourcing is hiring an Injection Moulding Production Trainee to support high-volume manufacturing, maintain stable process parameters and help improve output, cycle time and scrap performance.
What you will do
- Adjust injection-moulding parameters including pressure, temperature and speed to maintain consistent part quality.
- Support mould changeovers using SMED techniques to reduce setup time.
- Lead and audit 5S and safety practices on the shop floor.
- Monitor hourly production against shift targets and escalate deviations.
- Help improve cycle-time adherence and reduce scrap across production lots.
You may be a good fit if you
- Hold any diploma; an engineering degree is preferred.
- Have 1 year of relevant experience.
- Understand plastic resin properties, including PP, ABS and PA66.
- Can identify and address moulding defects such as flash, short shots and silver marks.
- Have exposure to hopper dryers, dehumidifiers, mould-temperature controllers and granulators.
