Job Summary
Typically, ~7-10 years in enterprise network engineering (with a portion of that in SD-WAN)
Strong preference for candidates with proven hands-on in Viptela/SD-WAN architecture, design, deployment and troubleshooting.
Root Cause Analysis : Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring network problems.
Complex Issue Troubleshooting : Address complex issues related to user/application access through F5.
Infoblox Management : Manage and monitor Infoblox appliances and failover associations.
Key Responsibilities
DNS & DHCP Management : Monitor and manage DNS and DHCP services.
IP Address Management : Oversee existing IP address management processes and services, maintaining an updated asset inventory in the CMDB for all network devices.
Event Management : Manage alerting and event management, reacting to incidents highlighted by monitoring tools (Icinga, PRTG).
Skill Requirements
Switch Monitoring : Monitor switch performance and conduct patch management.
Incident/Problem Management : Address incidents and problems as they arise.
WAN Operations : Focus on maintaining site availability and quickly re-establishing uptime during outages.
SDWAN Administration : Administer and manage SDWAN.
Other Requirements
Qualifications: Experience: 3-5 years of experience for L2 and 7+ years of experience for L3 in network and security management.
